Death Investigation in Oxon Hill Now Ruled Homicide



Detectives who have been investigating a death since August have received results from the autopsy indicating the manner of death was homicide.  The victim is 37-year-old Itimia Gray of E Street Southeast in Washington, D.C. A reward of up to $25,000 is being offered for information leading to an arrest and indictment in this case.

On August 15th, at about 9:15 am, patrol officers responded to the 5100 block of Deal Drive in Oxon Hill for a death investigation. When they arrived, the officers discovered the victim outside where she was pronounced dead. 

An autopsy was conducted to determine the cause of the victim’s death. On October 31st, our detectives were notified by the medical examiner that the cause of the victim’s death was a gunshot to the upper body. 


Detectives are working to identify a suspect(s) and motive in this case.
