The Prince George's County Police Department takes the community fight against thefts from autos to Hollywood.

Well ... not really Hollywood.   It IS a short movie, however it was filmed right here in Prince George's County.  And since Steven Spielberg wasn't available, our Media Relations Division took care of producing, directing, shooting, and editing the video.  And.....while we thought about asking a mega star like Denzel Washington or Harrison Ford to appear in this very special production, we said to ourselves that there really wasn't anyone who could deliver this message as well as very our own Chief, Hank Stawinski.

Quite seriously, though, this video is another tool in our community's fight to prevent thefts from autos.  We are asking for your help in spreading this valuable message.  Can you please help us by sharing the full video on your media platforms?   Also, make sure you watch all the way to the end for a special update about one the short movie's key and very cute characters.

We sincerely thank you for your help and, in the meantime, we will wait for that call from Hollywood.   The phone should be ringing at any moment ... any moment now ...
