Suspect Charged With Assault of Student on School Bus

Prince George’s County Police detectives charged a suspect for assaulting an adult student on a school bus. The suspect is a private employee hired by another student’s family to care for that student. The suspect is 45-year-old Owoade Elusanni of the 9000 block of 1st Street in Lanham.

Our investigation reveals Elusanni repeatedly struck a 19-year-old student on a school bus that was in the parking lot of C. Elizabeth Rieg Regional School in Mitchellville on September 2nd. The assault was recorded on a camera on the bus. The student did not suffer serious injuries.

Elusanni is charged with second degree assault and reckless endangerment. A criminal summons has been issued for her.
