PGPD Investigates Homicide in Temple Hills

Updated September 21, 2015: The homicide victim is 26-year-old Karria Mary Suggs of 51st Street in Bladensburg. Anyone with information on this homicide is asked to please call Crime Solvers at 1-866-411-TIPS. Tipsters never have to give their name and could be eligible for a reward of up to $25,000.      

The Prince George’s County Police Department is investigating a homicide in Temple Hills. Preliminarily, detectives believe this incident was drug-related.  A reward of up to $25,000 is being offered in this case.

On September 17, 2015, at about 10:00 pm, patrol officers responded to the 4700 block of 23rd Parkway for the report of a shooting. When they arrived, they found two victims suffering from apparent gunshot wounds. One of the victims was pronounced dead on the scene. 

The second victim is in the hospital in critical condition. 

Detectives are working to identify the suspect(s) in this case.
