PGPD Investigates Murder in Bladensburg



The Prince George’s County Police Department is investigating a murder in Bladensburg. The victim is 22-year-old Larry Nathaniel Williams of Eldridge Street in Hyattsville.  A reward of up to $25,000 is being offered for information that leads to an arrest and indictment in this case.

On July 2, 2014, at about 9:15 pm, officers with the Bladensburg Police Department were called to the 5000 block of 57th Avenue for the report of a shooting. When they arrived, they found Williams lying in a parking lot suffering from apparent gunshot wounds. He was taken to a hospital where he died of his injuries several hours later.

Detectives are working to identify the suspect(s) and motive in this case.
