“When one of our officers is accused of wrongdoing, we take those allegations seriously. Our Special Investigation Response Team (SIRT) immediately launched an administrative investigation upon learning of the arrest. Corporal Brown’s police powers have been suspended. The Prince George’s County Police Department holds our officers to high standards whether they are on or off duty. That’s a commitment we have made and will keep to our community.”
